By Car

Car rentals and private transportation are available from each airport. Some taxis will take longer trips from the airport, though Uber is uncommon in Ireland.

Public Transportation

From Dublin City: Take the train from Dublin Heuston Station to Cork City, then transfer to Bus Éireann No. 226 into Kinsale.

From Shannon Airport: Take Bus Éireann No. 15 to Cork City, then transfer to Bus Éireann No. 226 into Kinsale.

From Cork Airport: Take the direct Bus Éireann No. 226 from outside the terminal into Kinsale.

Where to Stay

Accommodations


We strongly recommend booking your accommodation as soon as possible. Kinsale is a popular destination for Irish and international visitors, especially during the summer. July is peak tourist season throughout Ireland.

Once you're in Kinsale, the town is very walkable. If you stay outside of town, keep in mind that parking can be challenging during the busy summer season.
